In short, NO.
Here’s why:
Accepting a percentage of a grant award as compensation for grant writing or related services is a violation of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) and Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Code of Ethics.
According to the Code of Ethics, “Members shall not accept or pay a finder’s fee, commission, or percentage of compensation based on grants and shall take care to discourage their organizations from making such payments.”
We adhere to the code of ethics to uphold the highest values of our profession, ensure compliance with established standards, and consistently seek win-win solutions for all involved.

Our logo - a lotus flower with a growth bar in the center - symbolizes the journey of nonprofits and nonprofit founders rising above adversity.
Just as the lotus blooms from the murky, muddy waters, nonprofits have the potential to grow and thrive even when faced with challenging external and internal circumstances.
The growth bar at the core of the logo represents the steady, strategic progress that we can achieve with the right support and strategy.

Independent consultants and contractors often appear costly, but this reflects the specialized training, education, and experience they bring to the table. We not only save you valuable time (and time = money) but also deliver impactful results.
Unlike full-time or part-time employees, we help you avoid additional expenses such as fringe benefits, training, and taxes.
We invest in our own software and tools (e.g. grant databases, project management software, etc.) to ensure that we can provide the best possible experience and outcomes for your projects and organization as a whole.
Partnering with us or another independent contractor means that you save over 25%+ compared to the costs associated with employee fringe benefits, software's, and taxes.
By outsourcing, you're not only cutting hidden costs but also gaining access to top-tier expertise and results, without overhead and administrative burden.
It’s a smart investment that offers significant savings and more importantly - exceptional value.

An LOI, or Letter of Inquiry/Intent, is a brief document designed to introduce your organization and its programs to a potential grantor.
This initial contact allows the grantor to quickly evaluate whether your project aligns with their funding priorities.
Typically 1-3 pages long, the LOI offers a concise overview of the project or programs seeking support.
Many foundations use the LOI as a preliminary screening tool to determine if your proposal fits within their giving guidelines.
If the LOI captures their interest, they may request more detailed information for further consideration.

Grant applications typically take between 3 - 12 months, with an average processing time of 6 months, from submission to notification. For example, if you apply in December, you can typically expect to receive a response by June.
In our experience, this timeline is partly due to the fact that applications are often reviewed by Boards of Directors, which generally only meet 1 to 4 times a year.
It’s not unusual to submit applications annually over several years before a grantor shows interest and approves your request. Persistence and patience are essential to achieving funding success.
-
On average, you can expect to win 1 in every 5 grants that we apply for. This is contingent on several factors above and beyond quality of writing including: your impact data, your ability to manage funds in the past and present, the strength of your programs, and your infrastruvture - such as bookkeeping, marketing, program staff, case notes software, et cetera.

Short answer: No!
While AI can assist with certain writing tasks, it can never replace the critical thinking, unique perspectives, coaching, project management, and creativity we bring to the table.
Our team possesses a deep understanding of funding opportunities, the ability to build relationships with funders, and the strategic insight needed to craft compelling, custom proposals.
AI simply can’t replicate the human expertise that drives successful grant outcomes.
