The Funding & Strategy
Collaborative
Our Values
1. Integrity:
Our relationships are built on trust, honesty, and transparency, with every interaction grounded in ethical conduct. As proud members of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), we strictly adhere to the AFP Code of Ethical Standards, including rejecting commission-based payment proposals to maintain fairness. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to know who to trust these days - we’ve experienced it ourselves, having lost thousands of dollars due to bad remote companies and vendors. That’s why we are committed to ensuring you receive the genuine value and integrity you deserve.
2. Collaboration:
Success is a joint effort, and abundance is unlimited. We bring 100% to every project and expect the same dedication from our clients. Our hands-on, collaborative approach is designed to evolve with your needs, ensuring flexibility at every stage. We offer personalized, one-on-one support for personal solutions that keep your goals front and center.
3. Innovation & Technology:
We harness advanced technology to optimize processes and achieve results. Tools like Asana, Monday.com, and Google Spreadsheets keep our projects organized and on schedule, with real-time collaboration ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Our use of AI brings fresh insights into narratives and budgets, sharpening your strategies for better outcomes. Innovation and technology are also important for capacity building, ensuring your organization is moving towards operating at peak performance. That way, when you secure a grant, you'll be prepared to impress funders and build long-term, recurring partnerships.
4. Excellence:
Guided by the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen (continuous improvement), we focus on making small but impactful changes to systems and processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. These incremental improvements lay the groundwork for lasting success. Rather than chasing elusive perfection, we prioritize concrete progress and measurable results. We continually evaluate our performance, holding ourselves to the highest standards to ensure that every project reflects our dedication to delivering exceptional outcomes.
5. Sustainability:
Our commitment to both economic and environmental sustainability is at the core of our operations. By working remotely and leveraging technology, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint, actively promoting environmental sustainability. Simultaneously, we focus on empowering our clients to build financial and strategic resilience, ensuring their long-term success and contribution to a robust economy. Together, we champion practices that foster a sustainable future for both communities and the planet.
Our Vision
We imagine a world where small and medium-sized nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs have what they need to compete and succeed.
Our Goal
Drawing on our lived-experiences, research skills, marketing expertise, and love of storytelling, we partner with leaders to transform communities. Our goal is to secure $100 million for our clients before we close. We build organizational capacity and offer the kind of human care and guidance that AI can never replace.
Meet the Founder
During the Great Recession, my family lost our home and small business. As the oldest of four, I put myself through school on scholarships, assistantships, and loans - and I learned firsthand how life0changing access to application0based funding can be. I made a promise: if I received support, I'd pay it forward.
That promise became FSCOLLAB. Today I help early-stage and small-medium nonprofits in Colorado, California, and the Western United States, secure grant funding, build organizational capacity, and create sustainable growth strategies - with a focus on the organizations doing the hardest work in homelessness, reentry, veteran services, and youth development.
Education and Credentials:

Beyond FSCOLLAB:
I am also the founder of Mindful Founders Inc., a nonprofit supporting solopreneurs and freelancers through coaching, wellness programming, financial literacy, community, and micro-emergency grants. In my free time I enjoy reading, yoga, family time, and the great outdoors.
